2022 is a wrap and it is time to celebrate by nominating worthy players of a job well done.  Nominations open Feb 1, 2023 on the TXRA website and will close April 1 st .  The recipients will be acknowledged at the upcoming Battle at the Alamo tournament in San Antonio towards the end of April.     Awards given out for 2022: Bob Sullins Outstanding Contributor Ann Gibbons Memorial Sportsmanship Tournament Director of the Year Gregg Peck’s Spirit Award (new this year!!) While the past year has left us with more time to play racquetball, we enter 2023 with many challenges, hopes and dreams. The TXRA is looking for members passionate and engaged to help us meet the challenges and makes some of our dreams and hopes become reality. This year, we have up to 7 open board positions. We are looking for nominees to join a board committed to nurturing the passion and growing the presence of racquetball throughout Texas. Nominations will be accepted January 23, 2023 thru March 13, 2023. The election will start March 27, 2023 and end April 15, 2023. Requirements to serve on the board Attend all TXRA board meetings. Undergo a background check (required by the USOC). The cost is only $20. Complete the online safe-sport training. (required by the USOC). The cost is free and only takes about an hour to complete.
