While the past year has left us with more time on our hands than playing racquetball, we enter 2022 with many hopes and plans and are looking for passionate and engaged members to help us forward those plans. This year, we have four open board positions. We are looking for nominees to join a board committed to nurturing the passion and growing the presence of racquetball throughout Texas. The election will start April 1st, 2022 and end April 15th, 2022. Requirements to serve on the board Attend all TXRA board meetings. Undergo a background check (required by the USOC). The cost is only $25 and is accessed through your R2sports profile. Complete the online safe-sport training. (required by the USOC). 2021 is a wrap and it is time to celebrate by nominating worthy players of a job well done.  Nominations are open on the TXRA website and will close April 1 st .  The recipients will be acknowledged at the upcoming Battle at the Alamo tournament in San Antonio towards the end of April.     Awards given out for 2021: Bob Sullins Outstanding Contributor Ann Gibbons Memorial Sportsmanship Tournament Director of the Year Gregg Peck’s Spirit Award (new this year!!)
